The Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder is a four block outdoor pedestrian mall. Seasonal flowers and native trees adorn the streets, and street performers and musicians entertain most evenings. Several well preserved historic buildings can be found along East and West Pearl Streets where shopping and dining continues. Many of these historic buildings are from the era when the city was a supply center for mining operations in the late 1800s.

University Hill is a business district featuring an eclectic mix of restaurants, shops and entertainment venues and businesses located just slightly off The University of Colorado campus.
